How We Started
Mark Chen spent 12 years as an IT director for a major hotel chain before founding Hotel Technology Solutions in 2018. He watched property after property overpay for cabling that wasn’t sized for growth, security systems that didn’t integrate, and Wi-Fi that couldn’t handle a full house. The industry standard was “good enough for now.” Mark knew hotels deserved better.
What started as a one-man consultancy running Cat6 through a boutique hotel in Orlando is now a national team serving properties from coast to coast. We’ve wired over 200 hotels — from 20-room inns to 500-room resorts — and we’ve never missed a project deadline.

Former construction PM for Turner. Manages scheduling, permitting, and the delicate dance of working inside operating hotels without disrupting guests.

15 years in the field. Terminates fiber faster than anyone you’ve ever seen, and his cable management work in IDF closets is borderline artistic.
