Pre-cleaned single mode LC fiber couplers in a metal storage tin — 20 pack
The Fibershack LC Coupler Tin contains 20 single mode LC/UPC fiber optic adapters — female-to-female couplers that connect two LC-terminated cables end-to-end. Each coupler is factory pre-cleaned and individually seated in a foam insert inside a hinged metal storage tin. Use them to extend patch cables in IDF closets, connect patch panels to switch uplinks, or bridge short gaps in backbone fiber without the cost of custom-length cables.
Each coupler is tested to ≤ 0.3dB insertion loss, with typical real-world measurements in the 0.15-0.20dB range on single mode OS2 fiber at 1310nm. The UPC (Ultra Physical Contact) polish on the ceramic ferrules provides return loss of -55dB or better, keeping SFP+ optics stable across extended links.
The hinged metal tin with snap-lock lid and foam insert protects couplers during transport between job sites. Unlike plastic blister packs that crack and spill, this tin functions as permanent field storage — organized and accessible when you need it.
